If you appear not to have received an email that you are expecting, there is a possibility that it has been caught in quarantine. You will normally be notified in the next quarantine report (sent every few hours) if it has, but should you want to check sooner you can do so via web mail.

  1. Go to http://mail.neutralserv.com/ and log in with your email address and password.

Note: You must log in with the account you wish to view the quarantine for. For example, if you have a mailbox called sales@mycompany.com and an alias (forwarder) info@mycompany.com that points to sales@, and you want to view the quarantine for info@, you must log in as info@.
  2. Click on Quarantine in the left hand navigation
  3. In the top right hand window you will then see any messages held in quarantine. Click to highlight a message. You will then be able to view the contents in the bottom right hand window. If you hold down the CTRL key and click on more than one message, you can highlight multiple messages.
  4. From the menu at the top of the page, then select to Deliver or Whitelist. Clicking Deliver will deliver the message to your email inbox. Clicking on Whitelist will deliver the message to your inbox and also whitelist the sender's email address preventing future messages from them being quarantined.

NOTE: If a sender sends you multiple emails, only the first email from them will be shown in the quarantine. When you Deliver or Whitelist the sender, all of the sender's emails will then be released to your inbox.

It should be noted that the spam quarantine stores the last seven days of quarantined email only. After this time, you will not be able to view, release or white list emails using the reports, or to see quarantined emails older than seven days through web mail.
