A quarantine report contains all new emails that the mail server believes to be spam. A sample quarantine report is shown at the bottom of this page. When you receive a report, you should carefully review it to make sure that no genuine emails have been incorrectly captured. For each email that is included in a report you have three options:

  • View Message: Click on this option to view the email through your web browser without releasing it to your email inbox
  • Deliver: Click on this option to deliver the email to your email inbox
  • Whitelist: Click on this option to deliver the email to your email inbox and to also whitelist the sender's address so that the server does not quarantine the sender's emails in future. Most of the time, if a genuine email has been captured you should select this option.

NOTE: If a sender sends you multiple emails, only the first email from them will be shown in the report. When you Deliver or Whitelist the sender, all of the sender's emails will then be released to your inbox.

Once you have released any genuine emails, you can delete the report.

It should be noted that the spam quarantine stores the last seven days of quarantined email only. After this time, you will not be able to view, release or white list emails using the reports, or to see quarantined emails older than seven days through web mail.
